NHS 75 - 1000 Miles Challenge
The NHS’s 75th birthday will take place during 2023 and communities across the country are coming together to join the NHS1000 mile challenge to mark the occasion.
What is NHS1000 miles challenge?
To celebrate the NHS staff and support their work, During 2023, people are asked to walk, run, swim or cycle (or a combination) the distance of 1,000 miles. That’s an average of 2.74 miles per day.
Who can do it?
NHS1000 miles is open to everyone! – from local communities through to NHS staff and volunteers. You can take on an individual challenge or join as a team.
