Meredith & Sonny raise £1141
Meredith and Sonny decided to walk ten thousands steps a day as it was something they could both do together.
Here is what Meredith had to say:
It was tough! But we did it!! I can’t believe how much money we raised.
In July 2022, we found out my mother in law had bowel cancer which unfortunately had also spread to the liver. She’s currently undergoing treatment at your hospital. In addition to that, she had an ileostomy bag reversed - so quite major surgery at the hospital too.
You guys have been taking such good care of her during a really tough time so that’s why I wanted to raise money. She’s shown so much strength the last ten months and we wanted to show some of that strength in a different way.
Sonny is her first grandchild and he makes her feel very happy - as he does us all! And I’m just so proud Sonny and I could achieve this for you guys and for her. It really meant a lot.
She carries on treatment soon and We’re all
Hoping she smashes it - like she has everything else she’s been through already.
