TVs, books and distraction items to make our patients stay on the unit more pleasurable.
Exercise equipment including a new upper body training machine that will benefit patients receiving intensive rehabilitation after illness or injury, helping to stop decline in muscle performance in limbs for wheelchair bound patients. These items will not only help our long term patients beat boredom, but will encourage socialising, reduce anxiety, create a distraction, and even aid in therapy.
It is our aim to provide our younger long-term patients with the latest cutting-edge entertainment systems to aid recovery and help beat boredom during their time with us.
